No shame in allowing music to move you! A few years ago I captured a video of my children trying to sing along with BYU Vocal Point's "Nearer My God to Thee". I just hope they continue being moved by good music as they grow.

Here's the real video if that was just too much noise :D

Here is a wonderful work that goes through three parts, Christmas, Easter, and Resurrection, following very closely the text of the King James Bible.

I am not into rap, but this guy is good. Great Gospel message that Steven Wiley says he has reached kids with.

OP
.. This thread is for music ..
i haven’t been listening to much music.
but, recently, these two very different pieces came to mind.

Don McLean / Vincent / Starry Starry Night

Pink Floyd / Us and Them

i believe all gifts come from God. there are so many different gifts.
not all gifts are used for His glory. or to be pleasing to Him.

.. God help us to be grateful, and to be pleasing in your sight. :)

It must have been in mid-1980’s when we viewed “Trip to Bountiful.” In a theater! Our son was born in 1983.
We visited Texas in 1983. Nice camping trip with our 6 year old daughter.
The hymn/theme song is a favorite.

A sad but touching film.

Softly and Tenderly / Song by Alan Jackson

Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling
Calling for you and for me
See on the portals He's waiting and watching
Watching for you and for me
Come home, come home
Ye who are weary come home
Earnestly, tenderly Jesus is calling
Calling, "O sinner come home"
O for the wonderful love He has promised
Promised for you and for me
Though we have sinned He has mercy and pardon
Pardon for you and for me
Come home, come home
Ye who are weary come home…

Last evening, i viewed a zoom concert, my grdaughter plays cello. It was very nice.

This is another group, but the arrangements were similar. Vivaldi’s “inverno”
This group appears to be of similar ages, 8th grade.

When i began this topic in 2016, i did not foresee adding music from my young grdaughter. :)
Not exactly her+her class. But close.
