Wife: depends on the location and the fun in it. Oregon, I got sick of it other than right at the beginning of the rainy season, when it drove out the smoke, which made me appreciate it a lot more. Around here, it’s a lot more fun and and especially in the summer, makes life a lot cooler. I don’t really enjoy thunderstorms middle of the night now because it can be pretty noisy, but watching them during the day can be rather fun

I enjoy watching a good rain even a hard rain with wind but if it's a rainy gray spell, not so much. In the middle of a hot dry summer - definitely enjoy a rain storm and if it weren't for the destruction/danger that can occur- would enjoy watching a hurricane rain but that isn't practical.
I too enjoy watching a thunderstorm in the day but at night if there is lots of lightning and thunder- not so much- keeps me awake.

I like the sound of the rain on a metal roof (memories of the village), but it really got old when, after three days of wet weather, the wash on the lines in various places inside the house still hadn't dried, and started smelling sour, so had to be washed AGAIN.

I picked #4. Especially at night. A light rain is soothing to me in a way. Thunderstorms are neat to watch, but as mentioned above, don't care for the destruction they may casue.
