Re: Christian Yoga
If its just all ladies in one room, why should one care?
(I honestly don't know much about the yoga trend )

Re: Christian Yoga
I have no problem with people stretching. Yoga is often but not always associated with much more.

Re: Christian Yoga
I'm leery of it when it is a class including meditation. Yes their are Christian ones with Christian meditation and I have not been to one so truly cannot judge but as the roots are Hindu/pagan I personally prefer to avoid it. Just stretching is one thing but true yoga includes meditation. So for myself, I avoid it.

Re: Christian Yoga
It was recommended to me due to the benefits of stretching
Personally "Christian Yoga" bothers me, seems like an oxymoron - guilty by association? My personal conviction is to steer clear but i realize to some Christian ladies that seems ridiculous.
Just wondered what others thought, i just thanked them for thinking of me without the speech.

Re: Christian Yoga
I've been trying Greek yoga recently, since it's supposed to be healthier. Not sure if it's Christian, possibly Orthodox. It does take some getting used to but I'm starting to like it. The store brand isn't that much more than the regular style.

Re: Christian Yoga
We use Costco's brand of plain Greek yoga in pur smoothies So,, if it's Orthodox, unless Orthodox Jew, it would be Christian.
