I don't see chocolate covered gummie bears much different from jelly filled chocolates that often are in the assorted chocolate boxes from Whitmans, Russel Stover and others. Just a little more chewy. I would love to taste chocolate covered gummies.

Thank you.

Candy corn is a close second.

Candy corn is a close second.
Have to disagree there. I like some from time to time at the appropriate season. :)

I agree with Steve. Frankly a little chocolate goes a very long way with me. Gummy bears? Had to do a search on those.

There seems to be a trend in comestibles to cover everything in chocolate, including insects. I would have no doubt that Spam is next on that effort: after all they do it to bacon. I think the Scots still have the lead though as they deep-fry Mars bars. They cover anything in a batter and fry it.

If a candy can be conceived in somebody's mind, it will be made.

No candy is good for you.

The purpose of making candy is to make money and employ people in productive business. if chocolate covered gummie bears accomplish that then they serve a purpose and put food on the table for people who make and sell candy. If they don't accomplish that then they don't serve a purpose and will disappear on their own accord.

If you want to see foods that really shouldn't exist, visit the Texas State Fair.
