Sometimes the Lord has a way of changing that negativity. There was such a person in our lives, but when hubby and I went through a very hard time in our lives, that individual was there for us, offering so much love and support. Any remembrance of negativity melted away.

Re: Irish Alzheimer's
Here was me thinking that Irish Alzheimers was a temporary condition: either a convenient memory or after a trip to the local pub.steve-in-kville wrote: ↑Fri Jun 02, 2023 6:24 am When one cannot remember anything but the negative in people

Now I am tempted to come up with number of national Alzheimers symptoms:
British Alzheimers - when we forget to drive on the left side of the road.
Scottish Alzheimers - when ye cannae find the whisky bottle.
American Alzheimers????

Re: Irish Alzheimer's
I only heard of this yesterday. I'm down with the flu (getting better, though) and was binge watching Law & Order. Someone used that term and made me think for a bit. Beings I have some Irish in me, it made me laugh a bit.MaxPC wrote: ↑Fri Jun 02, 2023 8:54 amHere was me thinking that Irish Alzheimers was a temporary condition: either a convenient memory or after a trip to the local pub.steve-in-kville wrote: ↑Fri Jun 02, 2023 6:24 am When one cannot remember anything but the negative in people

Prayers for a speedy recovery. We need you around to remind us of the joys of train-spotting and food.steve-in-kville wrote: ↑Fri Jun 02, 2023 9:11 amI only heard of this yesterday. Re: Irish Alzheimer's
We're supposed to get some much needed rain tonight & tomorrow so the cloud ceiling is lowering which means the sound of the horns at crossings travels further, so I am hearing them at home, listening on the radio plus watching the train monitor online. So I'm kinda railfanning from homeMaxPC wrote: ↑Fri Jun 02, 2023 10:33 amPrayers for a speedy recovery.
