Any suggestions for a CMC kind of church, or any others you might recommend?

You can try this BMA church:

Etowah United Covenant Menn. Church
P.O. Box 948, Etowah, NC 28729
60 Mennonite Church Rd, Etowah, NC 28729
Directions: Take I-26 to Hendersonville; take 64 west towards Etowah (approx. 8 miles from
Hendersonville). Continue about 2 miles from the Ingles grocery store. Church is on the right.
9:30 SS; 10:30 Church

It appears to be the closest.

Thanks Ohio J.

How "pentecostal" might this be? Hand raising in prayer? Music style? Tongues?

Bio of the pastor (which will answer Josh's question):

Probably, primarily instrumental, and probably not in a Sunday morning service.

For those familiar with Gospel Express Ministries, this would be the home church of some of their staff.

I already looked at this thread:

Are there any other more recent observations or thoughts about Foothills Chapel? Has anyone visited?
