Phoenix Arizona conservative Mennonite churches?

My dad is tentatively planning on spending at least a few weeks in Black Canyon City this winter (about half an hour north of Phoenix) and would a bit more comfortable in some sort of conservative Mennonite church than the Lutheran one his friend who winters there attends. I've used GAMEO and the Yellow Pages and can only find liberal churches unless there's a chance that one of the churches-with-no-website-or-affiliation-listed might be conservative. He's probably open to anything from BMA-esque through the most conservative that would still be speaking English. I did find the Berean Mennonite Church in Wickenberg, but that's a bit of a drive.

It occurs to me that a Church Finder section to highlight these queries would be helpful on MN. ;)

hey, blanco :D
it took me awhile to figure you out.

don't give up your search without contacting Ernie, through PM or email.
he may not be as active on MN, but, he has kindly offered to be available for questions.
he's in the Members section.

interested.
did you resolve the recent family struggle you questioned on MD?
no need to reply, only if you care to .. or, pm or email.

Wickenburg used to be in Phoenix and started as a city mission there. They moved out due to high cost of living and frequent burglaries, according to the story of their church in the Midwest Fellowship's history book.

There certainly isn't anything else near Phoenix I'm aware of.

Admiral: (Sir?)

Closest thing I could find is in the Northwest suburbs of Phoenix, it is a Church of God in Christ (Mennonite) in El Mirage, AZ. Address is as follows:

12313 W Desert Cove Rd, El Mirage, AZ 85335

These are usually referred to as the "Holdeman Mennonites," .

No church website as I would expect, and I would suggest reading the GAMEO article to get some background, but you seem to have that under control. Let me know how this goes, if you will.

Blessings,

J.M.

Ernie:

This does not show up in the CLP database? Am I missing something or simply outdated.
