Baked potato dishes they tend to make in the south where the potatoes are sliced paper thin and there is lots and lots of cheese and sour cream, and the top gets crispy in the oven.

Pizza is probably my all-time favorite comfort food. My wife recently stated that the food she most closely associates me with are sausages.

She also accuses me of treating sausages (and meat in general) as a mustard delivery system.

Homemade maple flavored granola (without sunflower seeds), eaten with blueberries, raisins, and/or a few seedless grapes. I have a bowl of granola at least once per day.

Pan fried sliced potatoes with over medium eggs, and/or sausage gravy.

Boiled sweet potatoes with ground beef gravy.

Kettle cooked regular potato chips along-side fresh apple slices from apples grown at Ridgetop Orchards, Bedford, PA.

Creamed eggs on homemade toast along-side fresh fruit.

Medium-well grilled steak.

Grilled chicken breasts.

Boneless skinless chicken thighs topped with ranch salad dressing and Parmesan cheese. Baked uncovered, until the Parmesan cheese forms a nice crust over the top.

My own homemade venison Salisbury steak, baked in gravy or using my canned BBQ sauce.

Call me weird but one thing that I find so therapeutic is canning. Chili, vegetable soup, BBQ sauce, green beans, ham and potato soup, fruit. So much fun.
