Documentaries for adolescents and young teens

Post by Ernie »

This is a thread for identifying documentaries that conservative Anabaptists and similar folks with very high standards would consider acceptable.
We only watch the occasional documentary and when we do, we want it to be something that is educational and promotes good values.

While not a documentary- it is a true story - The Hiding Place about Corrie ten Boom and her sister.

This would be more accurately called a “movie”. It is a bit of a stretch to call most movies “true stories”; perhaps it could be said “this movie was based on actual events”.

Not ours. But this is a place to list anything and then parents can choose from the options.

Every family is different but my children enjoy watching the History Guy on YouTube with me. Not exactly documentaries, usually about ten to twelve minutes. I don't know exactly what you mean by "very high standards", it seems Ok to me but I haven't watched them all. YMMV.
