DST is a useless joke to people who have to mark the day by sunrise, sunset, and high noon.
If you need to work in daylight, work schedules have to adjust for DST. In fact I have worked in places where the local noise ordinance which allowed work to start at 7am was adjusted to not permit starting work until after sunrise, as the citizenry complained about noise before dawn.

With modern technology and timekeeping devices it makes sense to have timekeeping that is not based on the needs of 19th century railroad schedules.

Well, I set my clocks back, went to bed earlier than usual but still more tired than usual today...Maybe it was the service at the nursing home this afternoon that took it's toll on me? Off to bed earlier tonight, even after taking a nap late this afternoon.
Getting old isn't for sissies...

i’m tired, too. more than usual.
i’ve had to accept a couple of recent deaths in the family, and, it’s a year now since a cousin’s 13 year old son was killed at a school crosswalk ..

it seems these types of deaths are increasing across the country.
drivers are distracted with their phones, and, alcohol+drugs, legal or not. :(
no matter age, pedestrians+bicyclers are no match for any motorized vehicle.

“Drivers, yield to pedestrians.”
