i took a walk down memory lane, trying to think when Avocado and Harvest Gold were “the thing.”
they lasted longer than i remembered, that must be why there came to be so many of them!
when they were “out,” they were really out.

i recall being so glad to see the return of white appliances+kitchens. ahh. relief.
about 10 years ago, i bought (what i called) an “entry-level” white Bosch gas range.
i’m so happy with it. i wish my daughter could have one. she has all-electric in her home.
this must be what i have, or close. (“no longer available.”) sigh.

(for me) the ideal for cooking-baking is an electric oven with gas cooktop.
but, i have no need for that. i wanted something basic, i like Bosch quality, but, no need of the fancy ranges that are so popular today.
my mother’s kitchen was humble, yet, the best meals came out of that modest kitchen!
my mil, ditto. no amount of money can replace the heart that goes into preparing meals.
stainless steel seems to be big now. i prefer white. plain ol’ white is fine.
