jcm unfortunately passed away some time ago.
I last saw his widow a few years ago at a youth rally to distribute tracts/sing on the street.
She attended with her children and helped take care of the crowd of young people.
I was impressed with her Christian spirit whilst going through a very difficult time.

Painful to read this. i had no idea. i enjoyed his (often cryptic, thoughtful) forum input, ‘hoped he would return.
The rooster quote reflects his down to earth, hard to dispute, logic.

He once emailed some pics of his wife+family. i was touched how his wife appeared so happy! :D
The spirit of love in their family came thru in the photos. He was so young.

They will miss him for as long as they breathe.
JCM from the md days is alive and well as far as I know. I think you have the wrong person in mind here Josh.

The person I’m thinking of died of a heart attack whilst canoeing with a group of people.

JCM had a brother who died from a swimming accident during a canoe trip in 2015. Maybe that's who you're thinking of?

Yes, that’s the one. As I recall it’s believed he had a heart attack when swimming and that’s why he drowned.

If I'm not mistaken, today marks one year since Wayne left us.

One year from yesterday.

Hey all. A lot has happened in the last year. Mom (Betty) moved next door, as you probably know. We're all still "on the road to find out". My sister got married. My husband and I welcomed our third and last baby: Rosalie Elizabeth. Dad would have adored her, so small and dark eyed and sweet.

We remember Dad often. There's many little moments where the grief is acutely painful still, but "what is grief, if not love perservering?"

This last weekend we camped in Vermont to remember his birthday and date of his passing. It was bittersweet, but life continues and we honor his legacy by serving the One who he cherished.
