The best chicken salad around here is at Zaxby's, and that's all I ever get there except for the free meal on my birthday.

The very best chicken sandwich is made by my wife. She did not pay me to say that either. 
The second best was at a small "mom and pop" cafe. They served up their fried chicken sandwich on thick white toast grilled in butter. Sorry, I cannot remember the name of the place but it was in Virginia.
The second best chain sandwich IMHO is Chick-Fil-A.
We tried Zaxby's once and we both ended up feeling queasy afterwards. Popeye's is okay but a bit spicy.

Most years I don't have any fast-food chicken sandwiches, so maybe I shouldn't have voted, but Popeyes is the one that is memorable and tasty. KFC isn't bad, especially the extra crisp version. I think I had chic-filet once and used to work at a McDonalds--and was unimpressed by both. I don't remember having any of the others.
