Thank you Sunbeam. You brighten my day! I was feeling a tad bit morose just now - good to be reminded that we are blest!

Is it biblical? Is it Christlike? Is it loving? Is it true? How can I find out?

Some years ago now, i recall reading an inviting post from Robert in his Today thread one early morning:
Psalm 118:24
23 This is the LORD'S doing; It is marvelous in our eyes.

24 This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

Most or all of this drama, humiliation, wasted taxpayer money could be spared -
with even modest attempt at presenting balanced facts from the start.

Try hard not to offend. Try harder not to be offended.
Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they are not after you.
I think I am funnier than I really am.

If you're gonna shout at me in the morning, at least have the decency to give me a coffee first.

Feeling good!!
Got up.
Had my coffee and a handful of capsules containing a variety of substances.
Had a piece of toast.
Read chapter 7 of the book of Mark.
Went up with Tyler to the public school where we run the cafeteria. Got my crew going on the days menu there and then started my own little project in the corner where I was making food for hot lunch at our own church school.
Loaded up the fruits of my labor and hauled it to the next county. Fed that tribe lunch.
Hopped in the car and went to a doctor's appointment...one of three for this week.
The doctor looked at me.
He called another Dr to look at me. They both agreed they had never seen lumps like this before and had no idea what they were.
They drew several vials of blood and decided to send me to another doctor to remove one of the lumps and do a biopsy.

Came home. Hope to stay home for the rest of the evening.
Amen.

The sky is sunny. The temperature is 76 degrees. I believe I will go take a walk.

How was your day?

Slept in.
My wifey tore out of bed at 7:00, startling me awake. :o
This was followed by a whispered shout to get up as it was late. :?
Made myself lunch and part of the breakfast. :-|
Loaded some stuff into my truck to bring back to work. :-|
Came to work, opened up shop and made coffee. :)
Designed a logo, or at least a concept.
E-mailed it to client. :?:
Rinse/Repeat
Designed brochure.
Took several calls, handled a few walk ins. :blah:
Drank more coffee.
The tool I ordered from Lee Valley store an hour away still hasn't showed up. Called them. :blah:
"Sorry. No clue what problem is. Manager will drop one off at your house tonight."
Wife calls, that means she made it safely home from school.
It's raining and apparently resembles a skating rink out there.

Basically a boring day.

Father-in-law coming for dinner. No more boring.
Amen.
