do tell...was it amazing?

I went out around 2 am to try and look but all we had were clouds. A storm was on the way out.

This happened with the pink moon too...the kids and I stayed up late trying to see it, then all that we saw were grey clouds.

Yes quite nice. It should be visible just after dusk, 10:30pm, for the next couple days or so.

Well I'm out in the middle of our yard at 1am and I don't see a comet... But, wow it sure is beautiful to stare up into the heavens and see all those twinkling stars nonetheless. Astounding.

It's only visible for a while shortly after dusk, maybe 10-11PM.

We had fun as a family too. Although it was quite a bit lower than the big dipper. I finally walked up the back of the yard to see as it was blocked by the mountain where we were sitting. I could just see a bit of the tail behind a cloud and by the time my family got back to see it the cloud had completely blocked it...
