I am unwilling to admit how funny that is.

Is it biblical? Is it Christlike? Is it loving? Is it true? How can I find out?

Over feet of snow since Saturday and currently coming down at a rate of about an inch every hour...
This is sure to have an affect on the climate...
What are we going to do about it?
Shovel the driveway and then go sledding. :P

Correction: That should say that it has snowed over 2 feet since Saturday.

So instead of singing "Wade in the Water", maybe we should be singing "Wade in the Snow".

2 Peter 3:10 - Biblical support for extreme global warming, triggered by human activity. :P

Looking at that passage again makes me think of a large meteor strike with a sonic boom upon entering the atmosphere. [bible]2 Peter 3,10[/bible]
I have actually used that passage before when the subject of global warming has come up- trying to share a little Scripture regarding God's global warming-

when I was young, Creation WAS in the text book! Evolution has taken over. Forgive me if I find that upsetting, many children are not being brought up in Christian homes to be exposed to the truth.
So it's fair to say you're not a believer in the separation of church and state?
Separation of Church & state is not a 'dogma' that I adhere to- I don't believe God is using schools in such a way, because of His obvious care for our children- to turn their knowledge of Him away from Him- that is not the Father I know- I realize public schools are neither church, nor should they be a synagogue of satan to teach false theories- example- against Creationism- I do not believe this to be the will of God.

I realize I am alone on 'this' forum, regarding total separation of Church and State- as I understand the prophesy of Isaiah 60 and others, and New Testament passages that I believe do not separate Church and State until the state has turned away from God- granted this is not the Anabaptist view, it is more the Orthodox Christian view-
I believe teaching children truth- and if that has to 'exclude' God because schools are federally funded, then I believe my position on separation of Church and state is close to the heart of God on this particular matter of children because whoever causes one of these little one's to stumble- well- you know the passage.
You don't have to agree with me, I realize you do not- but you asked me the question. I have strong feelings about influencing children's minds since we have a whole generation now of children who don't believe that God created this world - or them.
Separate issue than global warming-

Try hard not to offend. Try harder not to be offended.
Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they are not after you.
I think I am funnier than I really am.

an alternate subject line for this report:
NASA admits they're not "all that." ;)

i'm not sure when these Inuit observations were first made, but, it's been some years.
glad you added the link.

Most or all of this drama, humiliation, wasted taxpayer money could be spared -
with even modest attempt at presenting balanced facts from the start.
