How many other people from your church are on MennoNet?
How many other people from your church are on MennoNet?
I am curious how many MN members are the only person in their local church who reads or posts on MennoNet.

Perhaps I should qualify my vote. Technically, my wife joined MN awhile back but she only did so when she got fired up about a certain thread/topic and she hasn’t been on since.

I sometimes wonder if an undercover agent might be lurking, but of course they would first have to unmask my identity.
There was another in the early days of MD, but she left during a period when several obstreperous posters were debasing the quality of the discourse.

Depending on one’s definition of “church”, yes, a few others from my church do observe here.

Re: How many other people from your church are on MennoNet?
I have mentioned the site to a number of people, and to at least one of our pastors, but as far as I know, no one from our congregation has ever even looked at it. While I do not use the same nick-name here as I do in this area, I do have my congregation listed on my post page, and there is enough information about myself on the site that it would not be difficult at all to confirm my identity. No one has ever said anything to me about the site, or anything I have said here. Most of the ones I've talked about it to had already heard of it, but there just isn't interest, and I really don't know why. Everyone I know from this site I met through this site, even from other areas. (There is one person who may be posting here that I knew from back in 1998, but if she is participating on here, I don't know for sure, and don't know her MN identity.)

I've been shocked as to how small the world is from people I've connected with here on MN.Neto wrote:Everyone I know from this site I met through this site, even from other areas.
