Apparently there's a shortage of reliable electrical specialists to help install and maintain backup generators for businesses and whole residences. There's a surge of consumers after the hurricanes and weather-related electrical outages. Our cousin has one and is having trouble getting service in a timely manner in her area. Here's her email and I'll let it speak for itself.
Pax Max,
Hope all is well with you and yours. We're having our usual life here with lots of repairs and medical appointments.
Would you do me a favor? Let your Anabaptist friends know of a really good employment opportunity. The company in Gainesville, GA that provides and services whole house generators is desperately undermanned because they can't find qualified people to hire who are reliable and willing to work. They've only got 3 electrical teams and one gas team to serve the entire Southeast and Maine.
We needed service on our whole house generator and it took 2 weeks to get someone out here just to look at it. I'm thinking that with all the qualified and reliable people in the Anabaptist community, this could be a very good source of employment whether starting their own backup power maintenance company or working for one.
Here's the two employers that could certainly use their skills and talents.
