Here's your morning dose of toddler cuteness. Several videos are posted.

Oddly enough, my church's guidelines would discourage me from watching that video.

I guess I'm more conservative than Amish now.

I was able to view the videos but I can't understand how some bypass the filter while others are blocked.

Hats Off, what are your congregations' guidelines concerning watching videos?

Perhaps the word "Amish" let's it through?

Hats Off: I'm glad that you have a filter. I'm sure you have the maturity to pick and choose what you view. Others just click on anything because of immaturity.

We wouldn't be expected to rent and watch videos. The internet filter is intended to block you tube videos which it does in most cases. I can get permission to watch instructional videos for new software programs.

Interestingly enough, despite having such maturity, Hats Off still chooses to allow other people to control what he can see, instead of "enjoying" his freedom.

I wonder if those Amish videos were Youtube? Maybe because they were imbedded at the site, your filter didn't pick up on it?

Instructional videos are handy. I agree with your fellowship about renting videos as most of those are Hollywood. Does your fellowship allow the videotaping of family gatherings?

Use of video camera is not encouraged. I sometimes do record short videos on my cell phone.

In my fellowship, taking photos and videos of family gatherings is definitely preached against and would cause your spiritual well-being to be questioned.
