RZ - wow! That is lot!

But I bet someone here has more. Not me - only 3 siblings, 4 of us all together.

So who on the forum has the most siblings? The most children? The most animals?

According to my directory, RZehr would have 12 siblings. Several of them are only about six months older than their next oldest sibling. So I'm assuming that one or the other is one of the adopted ones.

I remember putting together a directory for a congregation once where the one family had 27 children, some about the same age, and even some with the same names! Widow married a widower, and both had large families.

Me?

Three siblings, one still living.

Six children, 10 grandchildren.

My mother had 13 children; so did my father. Therefore I had 12 siblings; nine sisters and three brothers. 2 sisters and one brother predeceased my parents.
We have a small family; only 6 children; 4 girls and two boys, but we have 18 grand children - 9 girls, 9 boys.
My wife has 10 siblings, 5 brothers and 5 sisters.
One of my sisters is married to a man with one sister and 14 brothers - I think.
Two brothers-in-law are named Melvin, 2 are named Levi, and 3 are named Ivan with 2 of the Ivans having the same last name.
At the time of my mother's death in 2014, she had 68 grandchildren and 164 great-grandchildren.

2 Siblings, brother & sister.

Believe it or not, in public school I attended- we were strongly discouraged from having more than '2' children, 1 to replace each one of the parents. The teaching was about the population explosion, showing us what happened in China & elsewhere- I remember they were trying to put the fear into us about having more than 2 children.
How ridiculous that seems now- although there are people that get angry if you discuss having several children!
We had ( I have, as their father is deceased) a son and a daughter.
