One of my friends just posted on Facebook:

Are you a Christian or a disciple?

Somebody commented:

Do you know when I first saw this I thought it said dipsicle.

My reply:

If those were the two options, I would definitely choose Christian.

:laugh

It reminds me of an old nugget. During the altar call, a man came up to the preacher and asked to be baptized. So the preacher led the man over to the baptistry pool and they both stepped into the water.
The preacher leans the man back and completely dunks him, holding him under a few seconds and brings him back up sputtering and coughing.
Preacher: "Do you BELIEVE?" He dunks the man again and the man comes up spluttering again.
"Do you BELIEVE?" Down the man is dunked again and again comes up coughing and spluttering.
"Do you BELIEVE?"
The man says: "YES! I DO BELIEVE YOU'RE GOING TO DROWN ME!"

These executive orders are getting out of hand! I agree with him on this one though.

The preacher was getting a little long winded and one of the parishioners got up and started down the isle to leave.
The preacher called out to him and asked, "Where are you going?" to which the fellow replied, "To get a haircut."
The preachers said, "You should have gotten one before you came to church."
The man replied, "I did!"

A 1961 expression of cultural divisions:
"What do the Simple Folk Do?"
