thanks to Wade, this forum now has a big George, and, a little baby george. :D
What could be better, I wonder if Wade realizes that George is a biblical name?
You'll have to help me out in pointing to how it is. As I wasn't aware of that. My wife is very fond of the name. :D

Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they are not after you.

The thing about about having the name George is that you can always find an abundance of clothes with your name on it.

It is found in John 15:1
Joh 15:1  I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman
G1092
γεωργός
geōrgos
Thayer Definition:
1) a husbandman, tiller of the soil, a vine dresser
Part of Speech: noun masculine

I found it many years ago while studying to teach on John 15, which, by the way, was my father's favorite passage of scripture. Georgos is found 19 times in the NT, usually in the plural, of which only 3 are in the singular.
I am the 3rd George (first name) in my family in the last 3 generations. There are no juniors...

Thank you George.
My wife's father's family uses George for the firstborn son. So her grandfather is George, her dad is George, she has a brother George, and now a son... Everybody seems to know who they are talking about as they just say George for all of them... I am often left confused, thinking which one? :-|

i have (i will call it a) “feminine” version of a torch, the weed torch, instructions suggest it’s good for clearing snow+ice .. :-|
i would give it, a “no,” on both.

of course it melts the stuff.
but then you’re apt to be left with a glazed ice surface, worse than snow!
and it does burn the tops of weeds (they love it, helps them grow back faster+stronger.)

ha-ha, i think it is funny, this ad calls it a De-Icer. (in summer, it’s called a Weed Torch.) :P
https://www.ltdcommodities.com/Home-Imp ... gLSxfD_BwE

i like having it on hand. not pricey. it has some uses.
it’s not good for either weeds or ice.

Well, you'll have to learn the Mennonite name game then Wade. I don't know about her grandfather's father's name, but your son would properly be called "Wade's George" Her brother would be the same as me, "George's, George's, George" though in our family the distinction was grampa, dad and just plain George. My dad's nickname was "Hap", but that is another story for another time perhaps.
