I assume you can request someone to be banned, but it is at the moderator's discretion whether or not that is enforced.

So, I'm fortunate the moderators don't honor the requests of those who wish to keep me quiet.

I think one way people try to restrain just anyone from participating on a thread is when they say something to the affect that this is only for Anabaptists with certain criteria in their OP. I guess these would not be known as 'open brethren'. Sorry, being silly.

This brings up the question of whether moderators can be banned from posting in threads. I love that idea, and I plan to try it some time. Wouldn't that be great? ALL CANADIANS, MEMBERS OF MCUSA AND OTHER COMMUNISTS, AND ALL MODERATORS ARE BANNED FROM POSTING IN THIS THREAD. Now I just have to think of a topic to roll with. Steve, help me out here.

As for Steve's Polls: I think they provide a welcome perspective into the "Day in the Life" of members here. Nothing heavy, just plenty of good sharing.
