Nosh sounds like Old English slang. Is its overall meaning good or bad?

I’m unaware of any definition less innocuous than “snack.” Had to double check, but it’s not even slang, just informal.

If you like them. They tend to be milder than Barbecue. Hostess chips are probably most popular.

The origins of “nosh” are a bit to the south and east - around the middle, you might say
