I’m unaware of any definition less innocuous than “snack.” Had to double check, but it’s not even slang, just informal.

The origins of “nosh” are a bit to the south and east - around the middle, you might say

Thank you, Signtist. I wouldn’t presume upon you though. I did order some this morning: the Old Dutch.

I do like to nosh (British slang) on bbq chips and Twinkies: you know, the healthy stuff. :lol:
