Reading schvazte from a German pov and I was “racking my brains” trying to think what that means.
Neto that is an interesting proverb because our Eastern European customs revolve a lot of singing around the table. It really must of been just your Germanic/Ukrainian culture.
We have a saying for men; they picked the flower and now they have to smell it.
Meaning that many girls can be beautiful (as with flowers) but they sure don’t all smell nice (as in personalities.)
