School Dinners: Cornflake Tarts

Post by MaxPC »

For Steve and others interested in Brit foods. We were discussing school dinners that we remember and my friend found this recipe which I share below. School dinners were famous for making do with fewer and less expensive ingredients thanks to rationing. Spotted dog and sponge cakes were also standard dessert fare at school.

This recipe gives alternatives to the traditional golden syrup too.

I looked over the recipe and it sounds like it would be delicious.
