Amish stores / Amish products / or Menno Products?

Post by Chris »

We all know about Lehmans (lehmans.com)

But I'd love to know of other stores run by Anabaptists that sell Amish made quality products etc. Even phone numbers to Amish stores that would mail me a catalog. I'd love to grow a thread on this subject. :) Thanks!

Could you be a little more specific on the types of things you're interested in? Furniture? Leather products? Soaps? Most of what Lehghman's Carrie's is not made by Amish. That's true with most stores in Holmes county even if they carry a handful of Amish products. Lots and lots of furniture stores though

Yeah both quality homestead stuff and Amish made stuff. Made in USA or Europe etc. High quality goods or foods, etc. Yes to all of it. Leather, furniture, tools, etc. I just would love an active list of stuff. Alternatives to just buying everything online or China-mart.

There is also a big difference between stores selling Amish-made products often mostly to tourists. Especially Amish furniture and woodworking stores.

And stores run by Amish that sell to Amish, which mostly sell practical simple housewares and goods that aren't Amish-made at all. Textiles, canning and cooking supplies, hand tools, garden tools, etc. Much of it probably from China.

Here's an online store that sells a few lines of Amish made products. It is run by a friend of mine.

One of his newest additions is laser engraving for many of the products he sells. He showed me a glass Pyrex casserole dish he engraved with YOU'VE BEEN POISONED at the bottom of the pan. Visible after you've pretty much cleaned up the food.

Yeah looking for the good rock solid super high quality stuff. Immergood ice cream makers is a good example. Nothing specific just great stores with great products. I'm specifically not wanting China made.
