I guess you didn't have any guests from MN come through then...?

We are resting from our day of rest. Between the grandchildren and nearly 2 hours at church, we took a nice long nap today.

A lot of Spring rains lately. We had a beautiful Easter Triduum, weather-wise.

A cousin of mine may be on the decline. He has a belligerent personality and I know he's in need of God right now. Any prayers for his heart to embrace God would be appreciated.

Sunburn. I forgot how painful it is. Went fishing yesterday and forgot to put on sunblock. The water seems to magnify the UV.

My nose hurts. My neck hurts. And my arms hurt. I can't drink enough water for the thirst.

Remember your sunblock when outside today friends.

Being the only living relative of a cousin, I had to consent to hospice for him. Very long story but he's a man with a violent temper and chose to ignore Truth and Christ. Please pray for him as he nears the end.

"4 But he who is joined with all the living has hope, for a living dog is better than a dead lion. 5 For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten. 6 Their love and their hate and their envy have already perished, and forever they have no more share in all that is done under the sun."
Ecclesiastes 9

The cousin passed away at 3:30 am. Thank you for your prayers. Please keep me in prayer while I prepare his funeral arrangements from 900 miles away.

Trip is done, cousin is buried. He was cremated. Long and tiresome trip this time, too much distance in a short period.

I need a nap.
