Wade wrote:Lord, you saw the medical staff’s feared conclusion,
As seven year old sleepy eyed sister looked at teary eyed mother in confusion,
You know Lord as his life hesitated a direction,
His life lay on the alter as we cried for your protection,
So, I awoke today with lonely bed,
The song, “This is the day that the Lord hath made,” rolling through my head,
When just yesterday the doctor said there is nothing they can do
And only the best hospital could support him through
But those clouds and snow kept the transport team at bay
The only option was to pray
But don’t be mistaken it was the best of all
As we hit our knees it was clear the call
Do not think you can bare such struggles alone
There are loving Christians coming beside in petition to Thy throne
Someone said, “We can be glad that nothing is to small for the Lord to care about!”
You can part clouds in which I have no doubt
But You wouldn’t and that is fine as Your will is best
You rather guided the care
And answered the pray
That allowed air into a little boys chest
Our son is now improving
Thank you Lord that he is moving
Leaving our visit he laughed and smiled saying, “dad”
The Lord surely cares for the little ones and for that I am glad
Still in good hands with mother who never left his side
Thank you Lord for such an amazing bride
Thankfully there is no one to small for the Lord to care about!

Let these times help to consider a moment the passing days:
It is true that moments pass but eternity stays
In this delicate balance life can go either way
Offered through One is true freedom
Don’t delay entrance into His kingdom

Thank you for all your prayers!
Glory to God!
What a beautiful poem you wrote to keep forever as a memory of this, may it encourage this little boy's faith for all his life (as I'm sure it did the rest of the family)

Wade, may I share your poem? Without giving out names? I think it is inspiring- I know a couple of people that could use it right now-

As long as it can encourage and bring glory to God then please do.

He still has some time to recover and wasn't able to leave Intensive care yet.
Thank you again for prayer.

Had a visit from a family we haven't seen for a bit. There are some people that I would be okay if they never left. They brought a load of food too from the congregation a couple hours away. God bless them.

praying for steady recovery, looking forward to reading, “we are bring him home with us!”
i have one cousin with 4 children, now grown with families. their youngest had a hard time, getting sick, asthma, and more .. he suffered often as a child. one day she shared with me that she wondered what God might have planned for this one? .. was he being tested to prepare him for future tests?

i just had not ever thought about childhood suffering like this. but, there’s truth in it, isn’t there? sometimes, our present battles turn out to be the foundation to face bigger challenges!

that child married some years ago. he and his wife have 2 lovely daughters, he teaches and coaches in places most people avoid. several years ago, they adopted 2 toddler brothers that had been abused, had numerous serious existing traumas to overcome .. not an easy path! today, all are thriving. the children are still young, years to go with them.

God knows the plans He has for us. we are called to faith.

continuing prayers for Wade’s family.

Today, i received an unexpected glimmer of hope for a tough situation i’ve been struggling with for months. :) i must continue to be cautious. (not my preferred state.) :?
this is unlikely to be resolved without ongoing effort, patience, prayer.
another day on earth. :)

If you were somebody that used the Fahrenheit scale, you could say that the temperature has dropped 42 degrees in the past 14 hours at our place.
