thankfully, day by day, doing better.

today .. early dr appt., diabetes check, it went ok. i was expecting better results, but, must continue to work on it. at least, morning blood sugars seem consistently good! that’s progress.

was unreasonably tired after the appt., came right home. the weather is cool, i started a fire in the fireplace, not something i usually do for myself. but, today, it was so lovely+peaceful to have it. i enjoy a fire in the morning, or, during the day. being so tired, the warmth was comforting, i slept, too.

i have weeds to pull, maybe tomorrow. hopefully, tomorrow!
it has rained, so weed pulling should go well.
time to prepare for winter.

[Yesterday] I attended service at Ernie's old stomping ground- Shady Lawn Mennonite church. :) Enjoyed hearing a sermon on "walking with God in the desert".

That's a great story. It's very encouraging to see a family value their children and lead them forward to healthy activities.

Refreshing to get to talk to someone who is seeking and has a healthy dose of humility. Interesting that we just moved within a kilometre of him and now he just started working at the mill and we are in the same department...
He "believes" in God but said something is stopping him from fully surrendering...
:pray

Wade, this is encouraging! so glad you shared about it.
i can’t say i’m surprised, tho. God has His mysterious ways, His own methods, and timing.
one step at a time. :D

Today, I believe, is the funeral for CAMERON, KAYLA, AND KENDRA MARTIN (AGES 11, 9, AND 7), the children of Paul and Judith Martin of Sheridan, Michigan. All three were killed in a buggy accident on Sunday morning when a distracted driver ran into the buggy. Paul and Judith are in hospital in serious condition - on Wednesday morning Paul knew his name and birth date while Judith is responding to commands.
