Christmas is coming.... Today it's time to begin working on part of my wife's gift. It will be a 3 dimensional cedar sign, sandblasted wood grain background and the butterfly will be lifted off of the background to give it a floating look. The cobbler's children have been without shoes long enough!

Try hard not to offend. Try harder not to be offended.
Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they are not after you.
I think I am funnier than I really am.

Most or all of this drama, humiliation, wasted taxpayer money could be spared -
with even modest attempt at presenting balanced facts from the start.

If this doesnt come together well there's no one to blame but me. No illegible manual, no trick fasteners.

The 1-3/4" thick board has been cut, and a nice ogee edge routed. Then my first coat of stain aplied.

Drove by Appleman's place last night. Unfortunately I didn't have time to stop.

Don't you really mean a stop at his place was not high on the priority list?
I have often thought in times past of the things I would have done differently, if I knew the happenings to follow shortly thereafter.
I'm not faulting you at all lesterb, just reminding myself that sometimes my priorities are out of sync with the history that God has planned.
Ever drive by a person in need on the side of the road because you were already late for church???
I confess that I have. I'm not sure if I was the priest or the Levite.
