George! - are you still traveling??
hoping for a review of your travels. :D
Well we have returned about two weeks ago from our trip. We had a wonderful time, met some new friends, lots of family interaction and fellowship. Here is a video clip of one such visit:

We did have one breakdown on Rte 80 in Ohio, but got the Macedonian call and ended up having church in the waiting room of the repair shop with another couple who were there for regular maintenance. We fellowshipped for a couple of hours and the time just flew by.
We are finally starting to get our rhythm back, and getting ready now for a visit from our daughter at whose home we stayed in MA while out there.
Thanks for asking, T1. How are you doing these days?
If we ever drive back east again, I want to stop in and say hi to you, George. We'd go within an hour of your place, I think. The other place I'd stop would be Robert's place. We'd probably go within half an hour of them. Not sure if it'll ever happen, but I'd sure like to.

I sure would enjoy that visit Lester. I don't think we were too far from Robert either, but just didn't have the time for a visit this time. He can chime in, but I spent the night in Brighton and then went on up to Rothbury, MI.

The star is where I live. You were still several hours away. About 3 1/2 hours away.

It would have taken us way out of our way this time for sure. You are UP there, but not in the UP yet.

Yesterday .. :P
the sky was hazy here in the U.S. NW.
i did not think anything about it. July has been sunny+dry, defying the local reputation of "always raining."
last evening, when checking weather conditions, i was surprised to see the haze is SMOKE coming down from wildfires in Canada.
more expected today+tomorrow.

this country is so big out here. it's a lot for me to grasp. :-|

I have just finished the major parts of my bathroom remodel with just the window and door trim to finish off now, but at least it is fully functional again, which it hasn't been in the nearly 5 years since we moved here. Here is a YT video I just posted of my bathroom.
