Here's a funny old British phrase that's been revived in recent years. It refers to very angry rantings and verbal tantrums:

"He's having a spittle-flecked nutty".
Spittle = spit.
Nutty = barmy; out of control emotions.

That's your phrase for the day, courtesy of the British creative sense of literary and slang fun.
