Doc Rich / “Larry Elder Gave Dave Rubin The Truth About It All” / 31 min.

i haven’t followed Larry Elder as much as i would have liked to.
this video is relatively lengthy, they cover lots of topics:
FATHERLESSNESS included, with focus on how poor policies directly contributed.

Transcripts would be helpful.

Larry Elder: An interesting son-father story. (and more)

Ben Shapiro / Larry Elder / “Larry Elder Explains How He Became A Conservative” / -13min

Transcripts would be great.

Increasingly, i’ve been reading/viewing content from various conservative black sources. From academia’s Thomas Sowell, to “just some black guy’s” youtube experiment - some pastors, and, of course, Dr Ben Carson; Jesse Lee Peterson is a new name for me,
i’m listening to these men, A-Z.

One common denominator is: fatherlessness in black homes.
No matter what other topics may be discussed, no matter education or location, the topic of fatherless homes is not ignored.

Unfortunately, lib politics do not share this focus.
In some ways, there seems to be suspicion/fear. i sense a potential/emerging battle between matriarchy/patriarchy, which i believe is set to worsen everything.

It’s a logical sequence, women who have lived without husbands/fathers for their children, would naturally think of themselves as the be-all, end-all, their children, ditto. This doesn’t make it so.

Where are societal messages about traditional families? once plentiful, now extinct? .. no shortage of (beta?) males in support of extinction of traditional families? is this what is happening?

anyway, Larry Elder’s son-father experience is interesting. (not the only topic in this interview.)

The Officer Tatum / WOKE Chicago Mayor DEFENDS BLACK TEENS DESTROYING AND LOOTING CHICAGO / -14min

I like The Officer Tatum. (Not his T-shirts.) :P

Over years, too much of this violent culture - literally, young healthy strong ones who lack for nothing - go out to “party” at the expense of others, some are beaten, if not killed in the process, looting, vandalism, being told they are entitled to do so.

In history, these kinds of incidents have happened due to authentic poverty and tyranny.
i don’t believe these problems are part of this. i believe “this” is about greed and covetousness. It could not be more tragic.
Wholesale destructive lies.

The importance of husbands and fathers present in homes.
How much worse will it get?

Yes. Thanks for saying it.

i admit, my view is not from insight, but from loss. losses.
husband, father, brother, grandfathers. uncles. brother in law. pastor. employers. friends. God designs us to carry on. He provides. but there is no substitute for what is missing.
i believe there are those present who understand my thoughts here.
interesting-enough, of all the losses my family has suffered, none were from suicide/attempted suicide, i’m grateful to be able to say.

i began learning about the special place males hold at about 10, when my grandfather died suddenly.
over years, i witnessed the ongoing loss it made on a big family, he left 9 adult children, many grandchildren .. our vibrant, busy family survived, but never the same. years later, my siblings and cousins have remarked similarly.

each one leaves a hole. scar tissue forms around the hole, but the hole remains.

i wonder if, as a culture, we could somehow convey to young boys+teens how important and special they are, HOW MUCH THEY ARE NEEDED, if this would help them resist lots of temptations that harm themselves and others? humans have a God-given sense of social responsibility that should be valued+nurtured. a TON of sin is resisted just because the potential sinner realizes his sin will harm his loved ones, and this price is too high. people who don’t value themselves more easily fall into sins+crimes.

when i think of so many men in prisons, i’m sad, all those men are needed in productive society.
it’s a failure+waste. not God’s plan.
