My wife was away so I got to experiment. Rare deer liver in a sauce of hot salsa and peanut butter (both homemade). Yummy!

Thanksgiving is coming along.
There are a couple of Thanksgiving threads.
It seems a bit early. So, supper, it is. :D

i like turkey, a lot.
in the past, i would roast a turkey (without all the fixins) a couple of non-holiday times yearly.

i relied on frozen Indian Trail Cranberry Orange Sauce.
they went out of business years ago. i miss them every year.

my daughter just asked for this recipe. i’m hungry!

any other fans out there? :)

I made pulled pork for Sunday dinner. Last week I experimented with a three-cheese Mac & Cheese recipe I found.

Yesterday my wife made a pork roast with baked sweet potatoes and collard greens. I have learned to let her go ahead and decide without my pestering her with questions though sometimes I will make a request.

Just learned we're having hotdogs for supper. Not just any dogs, but John F. Martin cheese dogs. I'm pretty stoked ;)

Interesting story about John F. Martin cheese hot dogs. Someone served these hot dogs, and the guests were unaware that John F. Martin produced hot dogs with cheese in them. The guests didn't even know anything like that existed. The one guest took a bite and was horrified, because he thought the hot dog was filled with pus.

Wow. Bet that made a great first impression :o

I think JFM cheese dogs are the only cheese dogs commercially available in my area. Could be wrong.

Oh, that's funny. Now I wonder what they will say when they try the John F Martin Jalapeno & Onion Cheese Dogs.
