Snow removal

Snow removal starts today (for me.)
a bit early, in my estimation, but, not a lot. a couple of weeks.
but, some years we have shoveled in November!
i have a long driveway. i do it myself, when i can. it's asphalt, faces south, so, i have that help from the sunshine. i do most, the sun nicely melts the rest.
some snows i will call for help.
"the worst" for me are those annoying southwest winds. o.the.drifts!
it's calm today, so, if i get right after it, it should go well.
leaving it makes it impossible, it turns to ice.
Are you shoveling? Plowing? ..

We've got a serious cold front coming through this weeks with lows in the teens. Pretty early and rare for us!

thanks for the warning. year-round, much of our weather comes from west of us.

The coming weather is supposed to be sleet and snow, so, i got my errands done this afternoon.
No shoveling today, but, by the time i got home, it was dark with areas of glare-ice on the roads.
Winter.
