Lil update for those who might care:

Been spending some time in and have been fellowshipping with non-institutional churches of Christ.
For those unfamiliar, hallmarks include: pacifism, a subsequent apoliticism, women don't cut hair/ wear pants/ speak in service, lord's supper weekly, no instruments, and a few other points im really enjoying finding. :)
Happy to elaborate where needed, but I won't ramble just yet.

Though my days in my location may be numbered as graduation nears. At the least, I've found an association I can see myself apart of with good conscience.

Go ahead and ramble. I have known some really good Christians in such churches.

Is it biblical? Is it Christlike? Is it loving? Is it true? How can I find out?

Well, I'm glad they aren't turning the House of the Lord into a salon with haircuts taking place. Do you mean they don't wear pants generally, or just don't wear them in the service?

Non-institutional CoCs proved over zealous and under fruited.

I'm now in a pretty large, mainstream CoC in my town (600 or so). I keep coming back to coc of some form or another (I blame my ancestry for this one... "Shared memory" theory, anyone?)

... I pray God would have me to settle here, be it His desire.

Sometimes picking the right church is just as much figuring out what place needs you as much as you need them. Not always easy to find or figure out early on.

Try hard not to offend. Try harder not to be offended.
Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they are not after you.
I think I am funnier than I really am.
