At Costco yesterday I saw a bag of animal repellent used to put around plants, I didn't read the bag but may pick up some, the deer eat everything in our neighborhood. I fill up my bird feeder & then deer wipes it out all at once. They are hungry, population growing

I've been eating out all weekend since Friday. Glad to be home.
Don't you just love those meals where you lose your appetite?

Thanks T1, I think I will stay away from that one as my sometimes blunt responses may not succeed in "winning friends and influencing people."

Resting up a bit this morning then it is off to town. Yesterday I put up "deer netting" over the berry bushes. I took some rebar and set it up similar to fence posts around the patch. I then took some pvc piping and slipped it over the rebar to protect the netting. Then put the netting over top of that. No new nibbled bits this morning so apparently it is working. The deer damaged bushes are resprouting so it seems we will not have to replace them.

The amount of work to get a quart of berries periodically amazes me but I am told that the physical labor is good for one's health; as long as it does not kill one. ;)
