Are they coming to our neck of the woods?

I don't think so.

It is nice to have face to face time with others sharing about Christ.
My father-in-law got us to sing songs at his house. :D
Guess it's only fair since I always pull out the song books when he is over, but that is very okay with me. :D

Now wait a minute, lesterb, you tell us to do more than hear by listening, but then in the next breath say that listening is not enough we need to understand. What up with that? Maybe the first one is about talking and the second one is about saying something? :laugh

Listening is more than just hearing. But understanding is more than just listening.

Pray for peace in Chihuahua today.

http://www.radiza.com.mx/cuauhtemoc/det ... ?id=107831

The photos in this article are being circulated on social media by the cartel to warn everyone to stay off the streets in Cuauhtémoc today. Schools and many businesses are closed today.

A big confrontation of some kind is going down. Several district chiefs have been arrested recently and the rest are fighting over their territory. The neighbor's armored pickup trucks are prowling the roads around here.

We need to go to Pedernales tonight to pick up my wife's sister who is coming down from New Mexico today.

Pray that the peace of God may rule here and bloodshed might be avoided.

migrating birds and animals can be confused, too.
God be merciful ..

my daughter+family are visiting so-california right now - they are COLD, it's been RAINING!
i told her, it's 70F and sunny here.
it's not even late February.

i shoveled 6" snow last week.
we could still have lots of winter weather. our planting zone is - mid-May!
those who are tempted to plant early, usually regret it.
Today .. 67F, dropping to 24F tonight, below freezing, and, SNOW.

Over a foot of snow today and more coming overnight. Temps dropped from near 60°on Wednesday to the 20s this morning. I spent about 3 hours plowing snow with my little 20hp tractor and snowblowing to get our driveway cleared out. I had a 4 foot high drift in front of one of the garage doors.

Can't wait for Spring!
