God Bless the USA" Bibles

Post by Dan Z »

Seems like the former President is now selling patriotic Bibles for just $60 - complete with USA founding documents for cross-reference.

Seems to confirm a lot about the worldview of DJ Trump and his Christian devotees.

i’m surprised you let him get to you like you do. he really gets under some peoples’ skin, i realize that.
i don’t plan to purchase, nor do i know anyone i expect would purchase it. it’s so easy to ignore.

what’s the nickname for (cough) “Catholic” biden+cronies? - Carnalist~in~Chief? :?

promotion, protection, funding of abortion, child mutilation, every carnal sin imaginable? with public monies, not voluntary purchases.

at least Catholics on the USSC haven’t totally lost their minds.

He would be a whole lot easier to ignore if he didn't continually insist on pushing himself into our national affairs.

Would that we all could. He does make it impossible for anyone to ignore him. By continuing to insert himself into our national affairs.

After all, the worst thing in the world for a egotistical narcissist is to be ignored.

If you don’t want to buy a Bible from Trump, they are for sale many other places - or you can contact the Gideons or your nearest plain church and ask for one for free.

But will those come with the American flag and "God Bless the USA" embossed on the fake leather cover?

In a past life, I recall a young airman I knew who had an “Airman’s Bible”. It had a prominent American flag on the cover.

If Donald Trump would read and take to heart what Jesus taught in the Sermon on the Mount and then follow those teachings, not only would he quit selling those Bibles, but I believe he would get out of politics altogether. This seems to be just another political ploy to shore up the evangelical base. This really is not surprising because politicians have always done what they think is necessary to get elected. The more I see of politics the more I see how incompatible worldly politics is with the way of Jesus.

Bibles similar to this have been for sale for years. The Patriot's Bible, for example - I noticed that our local Ollie's is flooded with highly discounted copies.
