I wonder if cape dresses would be allowed in French schools, or would they also be deemed an affront against secularism?

If I recall correctly the French banned head coverings in schools as well. Possibly in all government buildings.

By the way, Christians who wear modest swimwear have been similarly banned from some French beaches by the same rules that ban "Burkinis."

And people claim the dress code in a Nationwide, etc church is strict…
