This thread is for polls and other measures of what Americans want to happen with immigration. Let's keep it to that.
Requests:
1. Do not argue for what Americans SHOULD believe
2. Use polling or other reliable measures to show what you think they DO believe. Don't spout opinions or quote other people's opinions about what Americans believe.

It doesn't have to be political, but so far the main political wing listening to the American people, who overwhelmingly want a lot less illegal migration, is the right wing.
I could be wrong, but I don't think the American people overwhelmingly want what the right-wing is offering. But let's look at the numbers, my opinion and yours don't represent the American people.
A poll from The Economist/YouGov fielded in the days after the Martha’s Vineyard flights found that Americans were evenly split over whether or not they approved of Texas and Florida sending undocumented immigrants to northern cities without giving those cities notice: Forty-four percent “somewhat” or “strongly” approved, while 44 percent “somewhat” or “strongly” disapproved (12 percent were not sure). Democrats were more likely to disapprove of the relocation efforts, with 71 percent disapproving, while three-quarters of Republicans approved.
It's safe to say the topic of the other thread is a neatly partisan issue.

Looks like the nation is evenly divided on this.
Here's the table they are describing:

Is it biblical? Is it Christlike? Is it loving? Is it true? How can I find out?
Here are two views that only a minority of Americans hold. I think people have suggested an overwhelming majority of Americans hold these views, but that doesn't seem to be true.
