Can't say the government, crazy or otherwise, has ever been one of my first thoughts when waking up.

I would posit that the cocaine in the WH was a setup by Trump. There is just no way President Biden is complicit. Gives me relief of mind to think that the Justice Department will open a criminal investigation into this.

The only morning I woke up and thought about the government was when I was caught by the DNR the day prior. And I reflected on my mom who thanks the police after they pull her over for doing their job. :D

Did you miss the part about how the cocaine was found in an area not accessible to the public?
No I didn't miss that because it isn't true. It was not found in an area where the thousands of tourist pass through on daily tours. But it was found in a heavily trafficked area where all manner of other visitors (not on White House tours) pass through: https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/white- ... -rcna92906
WASHINGTON — Multiple officials involved in the White House cocaine inquiry now say the bag of powder was found in a cubby near the White House's West Executive entrance, not the formal West Wing lobby, as was previously reported.

Investigators expect to be done with the investigation by Monday, said two sources familiar with the investigation. The inquiry had previously been expected to take a couple of weeks.

In updating where the cocaine was found, officials said that area was also heavily trafficked.

The cocaine was found in an entrance area between the foyer and a lower-level lobby, the sources said. The entrance is near where some vehicles, like the vice president’s limo or SUV, park. It is one floor below the main West Wing offices and on the same floor as the Situation Room and a dining area.

Forensic work on the cocaine bag continued Thursday, though officials are setting low expectations that they will be able to identify who left it.

Press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre declined to answer when she was asked at Wednesday's briefing which of the two West Wing entrances was involved, saying she would let the Secret Service address that.

The sources maintain that the area is highly trafficked, in keeping with Jean-Pierre's characterization Wednesday. The area is transited by VIPs, visitors, tourists, staff members, military officials and facilities operations employees.

"What I wanted to be very clear is that this is a heavily, heavily trafficked, heavily traveled, to be more accurate, area of the campus of the White House," Jean-Pierre told reporters Wednesday. "It is where visitors to the West Wing come through.”

"This is under the purview of the Secret Service," she said. "They are currently investigating what happened over the weekend. So I would have to refer you to the Secret Service, the Secret Service, on all of this."

Officers found the cocaine during a routine patrol, a Secret Service official said. The substance tested positive for cocaine at a lab Wednesday.

President Joe Biden and his family were at the presidential retreat at Camp David, Maryland, not the White House, when officers discovered the cocaine.

One has to wonder what Biden himself, is on.

Biden ignores his own granddaughter, but weirdly tries to pretend he cares about other people children.

mike wrote: Fri Jul 14, 2023 6:34 am Really. Maybe I am just missing it, but I don't see the press going crazy about this at all. It's not anywhere near the top story on news websites that I looked at. Also my impression certainly is that the press was in a constant state of going crazy while Trump was president.
The original article was a little misleading, I think. Here are some reasons that this wasn't a top-tier news article:

1. The cocaine was found in an area where visitors leave things like cell phones before entering the West Wing. The subtitle of the article was "What kind of people is Joe Biden bringing into the White House?", but Biden probably isn't bringing most of these people into the White House.
2. Over 500 people were there during this time period.
3. The Bidens were not in that area during the required time period, so they didn't leave it there. No connection to the Bidens was ever established.
4. The amount of cocaine was very small, less than a gram.

Now suppose a clear connection was made to link Joe Biden to cocaine, or to show that Hunter Biden was bringing cocaine into the White House. That would be a much more interesting story. But there's no evidence that anything like that happened.

I don't think Trump needs to stoop to their level. Hunter Biden is staying at the White House (for some strange reason). Hunter Biden has been in and out of rehabs for his drug addictions including cocaine. So why on Earth would anyone suspect that Hunter Biden might have cocaine at the White House? Trump doesn't need to do a plot like that it's worldwide news that Hunter Biden has had drug problems and they have found pit a couple of times before. The Bidens need no help exposing their drug history. Trump's popularity is for what he does, not for fabricating & plotting in this way- those tactics were done to him not by him. Whether they get to the bottom of it or not everyone knows Hunter had a cocaine history and in and out of rehabs.

I don 't believe anything that comes out of this administration as they constantly lie. The press secretary KJP made the claim at one of the White House press briefings, that the Biden family was not at the White House on the Friday before the cocaine was found. It was a lie, as they were at the White House on that Friday, and left in the early evening. And Hunter didn't leave the White House for Camp David until, Sunday night. He was left home alone, in the White House. If this cocaine belonged to some low level staff, you can be sure that it would have been reported and the person fired. So the cocaine had to belong to a high level person.

This administration was able to find many people who participated in the Jan 6, protest, in order to charge them for crimes. Yet they can't find who left the cocaine in one of the most secure places in this country. You can be sure they know who the cocaine's owner was and they are protecting that person.

1. The cocaine was found in an area where visitors leave things like cell phones before entering the West Wing. ..
This was of earliest reports, the final location was not accessible to visitors.
i’m not going to look for a source, not difficult to find.

i’m with those who believe facts are known, not convenient to the powers that be, end of public discussion.

They lost the ability to blame random “unescorted” visitors. As-if there is such a thing in the White House.

Most or all of this drama, humiliation, wasted taxpayer money could be spared -
with even modest attempt at presenting balanced facts from the start.

They keep saying that the Biden family wasn't at the White House that weekend. But no one clarifies who was included in the "family". From what I understand Hunter didn't leave until Sunday evening.

Why is Hunter living in the White house? Is he grifting off the taxpayers? After all the "pay to Play" money he and his Dad acquired from China, Ukraine and Romania, you would think he has enough money to get his own place.
