This is astounding to me. To summarize, all discussion of candidates besides P. Trump are an insult to voters and any candidate who garners more votes has stolen the election.

I would be relieved to discover this is satire.

This is what authoritarianism looks like.

Narcissism is common, even expected, in politics.
There’s a lot written on it.

No surprise there!
Was talking with Mom about this- she's watched politics close ever since I was tiny as the threat of communism was her reason-

I shared my dread of President Trump running again as I know it brings out the worse in some people. That being said we think he was doing a fantastic job as president in spite of all against him. Now all I get at work from myriads of customers is complaints about our present economy & situation as their bills at the register greatly increased

Mom's reply is #1 he was doing a great job as President & #2 If the Democrats see that using every dirty trick in the book is successful against him, while letting their own hypocrisy go unchecked then they will be rewarded for being dirty, and will continue to use those tactics. She said they HAVE to get a message. I see her point- I don't know a soul who follows everything as close as her so through the decades I learned to appreciate her wisdom.
She also very much loves the Lord & glorifies Him in her life for everything!

Anyway it's going to be an interesting year. I was hoping for DeSantis just to avoid what's coming but then I remember they were evil against Bush as well.
Prayers for America to repent of national sins

i’m still interested in KRISTI NOEM as VP.
VIVEK - head of the U.S. Dept of Education. (He’s too strong to be VP.) The DOE is in dire need.

What do you think the US Department of Education actually does?

Hint. It has no role in curriculum. That is a state matter. There are no Federal standards or guidelines for curriculum. That is entirely state-based, other than Common Core which was a consortium of states and not DOE.

What the DOE actually does in rough order of priority and budget is:
  • Administer student loans and Pell Grants for the nearly 50 million Americans who have student loans and get Pell Grants.
  • Administering federal funding for K12 education which is mostly Title 1 grants to school districts with high percentages of poor students
  • Oversee compliance with Congressionally mandated laws relating to education which mostly relate to Special Education, Disabilities, Homeless children, and Title 9 sports.
  • Collects data on educational performance and other education related statistics around the country
Very little of this other than the data collection programs is discretionary. They mostly implement laws and administer federal dollars that were all passed by bipartisan majorities in Congress and often signed into law by Republican presidents.

And what makes you think Vivek is suited for the job?

i agree with those who believe eliminating the U.S. DOE should be soberly considered.

The U.S. DOE represents a new topic, if anyone is interested.
