It’s a tad concerning when some federal judge sets new precedent (nobody has tried using this relevant law since the 19th century) to remove a duly-elected county-level official.

Basically, the federal government seems think it exists in authority over the states, not the other way around. And that’s very concerning.

It is nothing new. Ron DeSantis in Florida is busy using vague powers to remove local officials that he disagrees with.

i read somewhere, wrt TDS:

All joking aside, i get the idea psychiatrists are discussing TDS on some level, considering whether it should be addressed as a new psychiatric disorder/syndrome, etc.

My uneducated guess would be it could be effectively addressed under existing identified disorders, maybe OCD, or other??
Maybe extreme irrational political ideologies, obsessions, constitute a new syndrome?? Anger management?? Depression??
Mob mentality?
