Nothing defensive, as I've nothing to defend. I'm not a voter nor an evangelical. :?:
But the quote above makes it seem like if Evangelicals would all vote, they could alter the elections. Perhaps they could impact it, but the quote throws the electoral college out the window

well, yeah.
i really like Dr Carson, i appreciate his efforts, i don't agree with him on all matters .. by comparison of other candidates, he was a stand-out. i'm glad he, and his wife, intend to continue to try to help guide the path .. esp of young people, his stated priority interest.

i was a bit dismayed when he accepted the chairmanship of My Faith Votes, i read about their activities, some i appreciate, some i don't. there are better roles for him! i hope there will be a good match coming soon.

1. Are you voting, why or why not?
2. What do you think will be the outcome, ie, who is going to win?
3. What are the ramifications for our future?
1. No. The weapons of my warfare are not carnal.
2. Clinton, most likely.
3. The overall direction of our society and government will not be much altered by the election's outcome (although the election campaign itself may continue to be consequential). We will continue to live under an above-average government, compared to governments of other times and places. Bad things will happen; many of them will be blamed on the president, and some portion of that blame will be deserved.

Another thread from before the elections.

I'd be interested in hearing whether people feel the same way or not now. Not about what OTHER people posted here, but about what YOU posted here. Anyone want to reflect on that, in a non-debate way?

Is it biblical? Is it Christlike? Is it loving? Is it true? How can I find out?

interesting revisit.
this is george’s thread, so, i will look to his OP and his other posts for topic guidance.
i did not re-read every page, but, i think i feel generally the same as before.

however, at this later date, i’m glad hillary is not in any elected or appointed office.
virginia politics have not improved! her vp choice, tim kaine, was “awful” in my view.

add to that, as of Jan 2019, the Dem-led House is proving to be a mess.
DNC governors are full-on pushing expanded abortion rights in their states. including mine. :(

Robert can revise his statement to "I don't want my great-grandchildren paying for that 1 stimulus check".

Outside divine intervention, since Congress is now in the business of spending in multiple-TRILLIONS, i’m afraid all hope is lost on this old hope of doing right for those following.

Multiple-TRILLIONS, in the hands of the incompetent+corrupt, will vastly restructure the economy, the culture, etal., beyond the point of recognition. No going back. AOC won.

i pray i’m dead-wrong.
