I agree with you that liberation theologians do that. And often, so do some of their fiercest critics. I know that you have actually devoted a great deal of your life to the poor, but some critics I have read sound almost like we have no obligation at all the poor and we should avoid considering the question because it might lead to Marxism. That's just falling into the opposite ditch.

So what is the Way of Jesus with respect to the poor? What does the rest of the Bible teach us about our relationship to the poor? What aspects of social justice are actually in the Bible? Are there good overviews that you agree with?
