My last post on this thread had an anecdote on a visit to an Ohio Wisler church and then a jeremiad on how the rest of us are all doomed.
I'd like to rescind the jeremiad. My apologies. We're probably not all doomed. I'm content with where "my" church is going--if I had grave misgivings I wouldn't be there.
Going back to the Wisler man, I expect his simple heuristic to help him keep his values, possibly even better than my fancy hermenutics would.
