I’m not actually sure… a lot of dmv’s do it by default. I know in Oregon I was although I could have opted out if I filed some paperwork but I never got around to it. I don’t vote by personal conviction.
Last election I voted in was 2008.

I just got my voter registration card along with my wife's and 18 year old son. They are both strong Trump supporters. I still plan to write in Ramaswamy in the generals if I can.

After quite a bit of effort, Ohio finally took me off their voting rolls.

California refuses to do and continues to send me absentee ballots to my Ohio address. (They are good at figuring out my forwarding address whenever I've moved.) No amount of phone calls or certified mail sent to them makes them stop doing this. I hold serious concerns about vote fraud in California. Someone at a prior address of mine could have easily gotten one of these ballots and voted in my name without getting caught.

Australia requires every citizen to be registered to vote. No opt outs and no conscientious objection. They send voting kits to my address in America when I'm overseas. So far, the mail has been so slow that the ballots have arrived after the election is over, and I let the Electoral Commission know this, and they excuse me from voting for that election.

I registered right before the first time Trump ran for president. Went to vote and couldn't find a parking spot. I was told that if I came back before the polls closed and got in line, I could vote. Went back and still couldn't find a parking spot.

I registered to vote in the 2020 elections so I'm probably still registered. I haven't bothered since then to either check on my registration or to cancel it. I was really politically driven back then and I've changed a lot in the past year-and-a-half, two years. If I had the gumption to care about my registration, I'd look into how to retract it. But right now I just don't much care.

I have never been registered anywhere. I would have back when I was 18, but the voting age was still 21. By the time the next (mid term) elections came up the age had been dropped to 18, but I was no longer comfortable with any connection to the world's system.

So there wasn't really a choice in the poll that applies to me, because I wouldn't vote even if our congregation 'allowed" it. (They currently not only allow it, but encourage it. I may be one of the few who do not, possibly the only one. The flag-idol was once too precious to me, so I avoid it, except to show respect when it passes, by standing. It does still bother me when someone treats it with disrespect, like one of my neighbors, who put one up, but allows it to get tattered and wrapped up by the wind, w/o fixing it.)

I've already had two cups of coffee this morning and I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting...something.
