Out of curiosity, does your church dictate anything on beard styles or length? The mustache thing I can kinda see being an issue.
No, just a ban on the mustache. Only a very few in our conference wear beards at all.

In my opinion, the imperative is faithfulness to biblical teachings about masculinity and creation principles. The argument from creation in 1 Cor. 11 that Paul makes also applies to men's facial hair. It is another thing that nature teaches us.

Do you try to eliminate them or do you keep them trimmed?
